JG Summit Petrochemical Corporation initiated the concept of sharing among its employees through the Abot Kamay Project. 

The Abot Kamay started as a simple gift-giving to children in the local community in 1998.  Employees pool their resources to fund the project which management reciprocated by giving a counterpart equivalent to the amount raised.  From then on the community spirit of giving lives on and have expanded to some other activities such as:

		Balik-Eskwela Project
		Handog-Lusog Project
		Computer Donation Project
		Computer Literacy Project
		Building of Library

Not only financial resources were shared by our employees but their personal services as well, proof of the invaluable commitment of everyone at JG Summit Petrochemical Corporation in the development of the community.
