The manufacturing processes are based on the UNIPOL® PP process licensed by the Union Carbide Corporation (subsidiary of the Dow Chemical Corporation) and the UNIPOL® PE process licensed by Univation, a joint venture company between Union Carbide Corporation and ExxonMobil. The technology is world- renowned due to its simplicity, operational stability, cost effectiveness and versatility.

Because it is a gas phase process, the UNIPOL® process is the safest and cleanest manufacturing technology for plastic resins. As such, there are no large volumes of liquid hydrocarbons that could pose as fire and health hazard. There are no liquid effluents and there are minimal gas and solid effluents emitted to the land, the sea and the air.

The licensing agreement between Union Carbide Corporation and JGSPC is characterized by continuous liaison, extensive documentation, complete training and technical assistance. This ensures continuous upgrading of competence and technical know-how of the staff.
