SR. MECHANICAL ENGINEER (for Naphtha Cracker Project) |

Review and approval of the specifications and data sheets for all pumps and compressors. | ||||
| Review all rotating equipment bid documents prior to issue. | ||||
| Responsible for the technical evaluation of all rotating equipment purchases proposed by the Contractor, and approval of the recommended bids for this equipment. | ||||
| Review and develop rotating equipment maintenance manuals, and monitoring programs for the long-term reliability of this equipment. | ||||
| Recommend spare parts required for this equipment for 2 years operation. | ||||
| Monitor construction activities to ensure conformance to standards and specifications. | ||||
| Assist the EPC Contractor in the correct installation of this equipment. | ||||
| Review and approve pre-commissioning and commissioning procedures proposed by the EPC Contractor for conformance to manufacturer’s recommendations, and good industry practice. | ||||
| ||||
Licensed Mechanical Engineer | ||||
| At least 15 years experience in operations and maintenance of rotating equipment | ||||
| At least 5 years experience with large scale, steam turbine driven, multi-stage centrifugal compressors | ||||
| With experience in handling projects | ||||
| Naphtha Cracker experience a plus | ||||
| Experience in project engineering also a plus | ||||
| 5 years experience in the oils and gas or petrochemical industries preferred | ||||
| Familiar with international and local standards relative to construction and design | ||||
